Youth Ministry

Our mission is to make mature disciples who make other disciples. Matthew 28:19-22

Vision Statement

We desire our students to be grounded in their faith. We rely on God for spiritualtransformation in our students' lives through studying and applying the Word ofGod. We pray that God will transform the corrupted hearts caused by sin andmold the darkness of the heart and bring new life and Christlikeness to ourstudents. We envision our students who are not ashamed of the Gospel, butambassadors for Christ in a hostile culture. We commit to disciple our studentsalongside their families. And we commit to integrating our students into the bodyof the church through training and mentoring alongside people-oriented leaders. Our prayer is that not only will God bring the spiritual death to life and raisestudents who love the Word of God and are committed to its teaching of the Bibleand have an impact on others for Christ in their lives, homes, communities, nation, and world, but they will ultimately make other disciple.

Prayer

We desire a ministry that is rooted in the Word of God. Regardless of circumstances, this ministry must remain consistent and affirming, and its fruit is only caused by God(Psalm 1:2-3). We are unable to accomplish anything in ministry apart from Christ. Thesole source of our dependence is Christ (John 15:4-7). Prayer is an intimate relationshipwith God, as demonstrated and taught by Jesus. The ministry is empty and dry whenthere is no connection. Prayer is regarded as a means of expressing the longing wehave for God, and our dependence on Him (Matthew 26:36).

Ministry Values

Bible Authority

[Bible Verse & Rationale]

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, forcorrection, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may becomplete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Every aspect of our ministry is driven by and founded on the truth. Throughout theteaching curriculum, we will provide biblical, sound doctrine, and theological truthteachings to all age-group ministries.

People-Oriented

[Bible Verse & Rationale]

"...Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give hislife as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28

Our ministry to the students, youths, and adults will be characterized by servantleadership. Rather than focusing on programs, a servant leader is people oriented.Servant leaders follow Christ by serving others first without being self-centered.

Partnerships with parents

[Bible Verse & Rationale]

Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training andinstruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4

We recognize that God has placed parents as the primary disciplers of theirchildren. We believe that the role of the church is to partner with families, ratherthan taking their place. We focus not only on preparing students, but also onequipping and providing resources for parents to fulfill their primary role ofdiscipling their children.

Relational Discipleship

[Bible Verse & Rationale]

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”

Matthew 4:19

Relationship Discipleship occurs within an intentional and relational contextwith an individual. This can be achieved through one-on-one discipleship orsmall group discipleship. In relational discipleship, biblical truth is sharedwithin the context of caring relationships to help individuals pursue God.

Intergenerational Community

[Bible Verse & Rationale]

In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy templein the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling inwhich God lives by his Spirit. Ephesians 2:21-22

Integrating an individual into the local church body is an essential element ofministry. All people regardless of their age worship together as a community. In the body of Christ, all generations are treated equally. The younger andolder generations are encouraged to engage in meaningful ways todemonstrate unity in Christ.
